As prominently reported all over the blogoshpere and newswires, Sunrocket closed its doors yesterday, leaving a customer base of 200,000 in need of a new voip service provider. 5PCom announced today that we've designed a special package offer to help Sunrocket customers smoothly transition into new voip service with 5PCom, including free porting, assistance with reconfiguring their Sunrocket voip adapters, as well as a price break incentive amounting to a 250% discount on new service plans. The circumstances surrounding Sunrockets closing are unfortunate, and certainly frustrating for customers. However, 5PCom is dedicated to doing whatever we can to make the change over as seamless as it can be. New customers will have new service immediately upon completing the sign-up process, and will be assigned a temporary number (again, immediately) to use while the porting process is completed. We have posted instructions on how to reconfigure your Sunrocket voip adapter if you choose to do so yourself, and otherwise, our support techs can do it for you. Of course, as always, free adapter rental with $50 deposit is available if you prefer to start fresh with a new adapter, or don't have an adapter. We are continuing to monitor and research all information available that can assist us serving these customer's needs as effectively as possible. To all of those Sunrocket customers that have chosen to trust 5PCom as your voip provider, we know you will be glad you did. Welcome to 5PCom! Tags: Sunrocket Voip Service Provider News |
