| Live Agent Service Now Available |

Quick announcement: 5PCom now offers Live Agent tech support! Just to be clear, the technical term we are calling it is "Remote Assistance", and here is how it works. You have a problem or question, and you call the toll free number (prominantly listed on all pages of the site, but for reference, it is 1.888.652.8325 for New Service, or 1.800.646.0804 for Tech Support.) Next, you let the agent know you would like help, and then you promptly visit the remote assist link and click on the "Join Session". From there, you have several options. You can let the agent take over your computer, who can walk through all steps needed, for example, to set up Softphone on your PC, or adjusting other account configuration settings. Or, you can choose to keep control but allow the agent to see your system screen, so that they can verbally guide you through any process that is handled on your PC or Laptop, such as setting up fax over voip capabiities on your account, or listening to your vmail online. No matter what, you can always terminate the session from your side if and when you feel you need to, so you have control no matter which option you choose. The idea is to make any process required to service your voip account seamless and straightforward, and sometimes seeing it done is much easier than figuring it out, especially if you are new to voip or not particularly "technical" in your orientation (translation: if your not a geek We hope you like it! |
