Internet Phone Provider

Just a quick update for those who haven't yet heard the news: Sunrocket Customers were given a final 10 day countdown to termination of service starting on Thursday, July 26, 2007.

In an email sent to ex-Sunrocket customers that day, Sunrocket reiterated its decision to dissolve the company, and officially endorsed the unknown Teleblend (as previously posted here at 5PCom's blog) as a replacement voip provider alternative, in additon to Packet8.  If you are an ex-Sunrocket customer, you should also know that Teleblend is being offered merely as a stop-gap solution, that is , temporarilly. The point being, to buy time as sunrocket customers find alternative voip providers.

From the customers perspective, this seems like a fairly in-efficient solution. Why go through the process of porting and establishing new service, only to do it again several weeks down the road? Taking the time to do a little homework and select a provider for the long haul would make the most sense, and save yourself the headache of switching providers twice (once is bad enough.)
